SCHMID, RICHARD C., 45, of St. Petersburg, died Monday (July 4, 1988) of cancer at his residence. Born in Glen Ridge, N.J., he came here in 1961 from West Caldwell, N.J. A plumbing contractor, he was a member of the Plumbers Local 111. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Boopha; his mother, Sally Schmid, his father, Lawrence, and a brother, Gerard, all of St. Petersburg; a stepdaughter, Christine Lobel, Brandon; three nieces; and a nephew.
