Gloria Otey Courdin, age 77 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at her residence. Gloria was born on July 14, 1944, in North Carolina, daughter of the late William B. Otey and Ledah J. Sellers Otey. In addition to her parents, Gloria was also preceded in death by: her husband, Albert David Rudolph Courdin. Gloria was a volunteer with the Harris Arts Center, Voluntary Action Center, and Humane Society. She was a master gardener and loving mother and grandmother.

I do remember Gloria, with delight. I can still see her freckles and impish smile. Seems like whenever we were together in high school, there was laughter. Sad to hear she's gone, so soon. Love, Gail

I was very sorry when I heard of her death. I wrote to her family relating the wonderful times we had the summer she came to Canada with me. Her personality was such that she made those around her happy. She certainly loved her family. Of course now it is too late I wish I had made more of an effort to keep in touch.
