After graduating from Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, Pam attended St. Petersburg College before joining United Airlines in the mid-1960s, based out of Denver, CO. It was in Denver where she met Vincent (Vinnie) Fragomene, a newly commissioned Naval Officer. They married within the year they met and spent nearly 58 years together. Their shared sense of adventure (they never let any grass grow under their feet) took Pam and Vinnie across the United States, Asia, and Europe. Highlights of their travels included standing on the Great Wall of China in 1980 and driving to Poland and the Czech Republic after the Berlin wall fell.
Pam was an advocate for eating well (no trans fats!) and exercising. She loved swimming with her grandsons Harlan and Jordan, kayaking with her son Vince, and walking her grand dog, Stella. An avid reader, Pam took advantage of libraries wherever she and Vinnie lived and always had a stack of books by her side. Always adventurous, Pam took up skiing at 46 and tried paragliding (with a guide) at 69.
Pam is survived by her husband Vincent (Vinnie) Fragomene, children Vincent Fragomene and Traca Fragomene, daughter-in-law Maribel Fragomene, daughter-in-law Jocelyn Ungar, grandson Harlan Fragomene, and grandson Jordan Fragomene.
To honor Pam’s wishes, her ashes will be scattered off a beach on Oahu by her family. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/seattle-wa/pamela-fragomene-11693226

I remember Pam well from our mid-teens as a vivacious, classy person. In the late 60's while walking across a parking lot at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma I was surprised to hear Pam call my name. Turned out that her husband Vince and I were in the same carrier air wing but had not crossed paths and she'd travelled to Yuma to join Vince there. She was then the same sparkling personality I'd known at Bogie and it was great to see her again for what would be the last time. May she rest in peace.

I remember Pam as a lovely, bright fellow student at Bogie. She clearly had an amazing, adventurous life.
I send my best to her family and friends for a life well-lived and sadness for her loss. Joan Woodworth

I remember Pam as a bringer of sparkle, as classmates. Always a smile and an excellent athlete. She and I hung out a bit in the hotel where we were staying for the Reunion celebration of our 50th anniversary! It was such a delight to connect. Following that, we exchanged messages on FB. She described some health issues, and I looked forward to hearing improvements. I now realize why there was a "quiet" for the last year. What an example of a 'life well lived'; so inspiring for whatever time I have left. Thank you for this beautiful legacy.

I was thinking about Pam just a few days ago, noting that she had stopped posting on Facebook and thinking how smart she was for giving it up. So I was very sad to read that she died a few days ago. We were friends at Tyrone Jr. High, and Pam was a very fun and funny girl. I have a few pictures from 9th grade when she and I and 2 other girls (one of whom was Lynda Tallaksen) rode our bikes to Municipal Beach! Pam was such a nice girl. I shall always think of her with a smile. My sympathies to her family.
