My condolences to her family. I remember her from high school as a throughly nice
person. I'm sure she will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Joyce. She was most talented. If memory serves me correctly, I believe she was selected to the honor of being named "Miss Jeannie with the Light Brown Hair."
Carol Hill (Gruszka)
Joyce was warm, thoughtful, gracious, and talented; and I cherish my memories of the good times we had in high school. Rest in peace, Joyce, knowing how many lives you touched and made better.

Ann Betts Doss -- I am so sorry to learn of Joyce's death. She was special to me, especially in choir with Ms. Baker, and she even sang at my wedding! A beautiful lady is now with Gary Bowen, singing away in Heaven. She made such an impact on my life, and she is remembered with love.

So sorry to hear that Joyce had passed away. She was a beautiful person with a great talent to sing with the Bogie choir. Those memories are certainly wonderful. Prayers are with her family.

I have to give so much credit to the classmates who arranged the 50th. That's where I was able to get back in touch with Joyce. We had a lovely friendship ever since and even a short day visit back in January, '16. I know Joyce was looking forward to this wonderful beginning with great joy. I feel a bit of envy. Truly, the sadness of death is only for the living. Soon, my dear friend. And then forever.

I have such wonderful memories of Joyce! She was so beautiful, so sweet, so modest about her gifts, and so very talented, as everyone knows. Marsha, I think you are right. She was "Miss Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair" (even though she was blonde). I feel so blessed that I had the chance to know her and sing with her in Baker's Dozen and Concert Choir. She defintely deserved "Most Talented"!

her last email to me was a sorrowful goodbye, but what an impact she had on all of us. She showed a smiling and sweet, uplifting nature to those around her. The trials she endured, she shouldered with grace, May she rest in peace and when we hear a choir, we shall think of Joyce as a loving participant!

Joyce had the most beautiful soprano voice and I have fond memories of singing with her in choir and Baker's Dozen. She always sent inspirational things on Facebook and I enjoyed them so much. She will be missed, but has left behind a wonderful legacy of love and kindness for so many. My prayers to her family and friends.
