William Delmas Gantt was born in St. Petersburg, FL., He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the submarine, the Threadfin. He passed in 2019.

Bill and I were not only friends at Disston and Bogie, we were shipmates aboard the USS Threadfin SS410 homeported in
Key West. We spent many days and weeks together under the sea tracking hostile submarines and surface warships.
Lots of "Special Ops" together too.
He had a great sense of humor, a big heart and a love for the US Navy Submarine Force.
Somehow I lost contact with Bill when we both left the Navy. I tried several times over the years to locate Bill without
success. If anyone knows what happend to Bill or if you have any relative contact information, please forward to me.
