FLEISHER, DAVID G., 63, formerly of Gulfport, died Thursday (Jan. 12, 2006) of an aneurysm at Duke University Hospital in North Carolina. He moved to Gulfport in 1943 from his native Harrisburg, Pa. He retired from the Utah Medical Examiner's Office as a technician and supervisor. Before that he was an associate with the Pinellas County Medical examiner as a technician. During the late 1960s he was a police officer for the city of Gulfport and a funeral director at Gulfport Memorial Funeral Home. He was a graduate of Boca Ciega High School and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Mona; two daughters, Cathi Schmidt, Wesley Chapel, and Diane Fleisher, Clearwater; his father and stepmother, Horace and Mary Fleisher, Denver; a sister, Lee Fleisher, Denver; a brother, J.T. Fleisher, Maine; and four grandchildren
