Jerome "Jerry" Badurski

Jerome Jerry Badurski

John Baum sent the following email informing us of Jerry's death:

I saw when I last visited this site that you had no information regarding the passing of Jerry (Jerome C.) Badurski some years ago. Jerry was in my home room during the entirety of my three years at Bogie, but I never saw him again after 1962.  I found via Google that Jerry died on August 8, 1986, in San Francisco, California,  apparently from AIDS as he is listed as a decedent in the National AIDS Memorial (http://www.aidsmemorial.org/old/tour_b.html).  See also http://sfnowthen.blogspot.com/2014/06/always-remember.html.

Thank you for letting us know, John. Our condolences are extended to Jerry's friends and family.

How heartbreaking. I remember him as being bright and funny. Chances are his life was more difficult than we realized. Thank you John, for this update. I send loving thoughts to his friends and family, in response to finding out about his passing.

As a neighbor and friend of Jerry's, I visited him in San Francisco on my way to China in 1982.  We were in touch for some time after that.  I always enjoyed his company and he was a bright, kind person.  Even now I am sorry his life was unfinished in many ways.  Thanks for including him.  Joan Woodworth
