Bob Angle informed us of Ken Wides' passing on August 15, 2025. Obituary has not yet been published, but his service and burial are scheduled for August 20. Comments welcome here. RIP, Ken.
Saw Susan, Ken's sister at Golf Tournemt and she indicated he was not doing well. I have been hoping to chat with 10 over the past 10+ years and he would not respond.
I knew Kenny during high school home room and at one or more of the reunions. He was a fine person; friendly and a good guy. I know he will be missed. I'm sending sympathy to his family and friends.
I kew kenny since we were 10. First as a Little league competitor then as a Pony League team mate. I'll always remember his sly dry sense of humor. RIP my old friend.
My forever memory is a boom box an I can actually picture us in my mind's eye, dancing on the each to the everly bros!! Yup..clear as day. I hoope the music is playing for him, loud and clear. Joan
Ken and I were good friends from grade school through our college years together. We grew up in the same neighborhood and shared many adventures throughout life. The last few years have been tough, Ken became very entrenched in life and genrally wasn't accepting visitors. I stopped mutiple times but he wasn't willing to talk. Elaine was about the only one able to get through to him. She faithfully visited him almost daily.
I'll remember the good times. He had a very successful Financial Advisor Career.He ws a dedicated family man very dedicated to his sons; Josh, Adam, Jessy, and Zachary. I'll miss him very much.
