Malcolm Kavanagh

Served in the Coast Guard 1967 -1971 as a elecronic technician. Got a BA in Psychology and worked as teacher in a program for disadvantaged elementary students. Went to work for the State of Florida in the Aging and Adult services program, retiring after 31 years. Retired: living 6 months in Franklin, North Carolina and 6 months in Florida

Best memories are of all the different activities shared while being in the band. Especially the memories of the trip to Nassau. There was also a time when our hotel room was raided by the police in in Miami. Mr. Dean wanted the police to take to jail, thankfully they didn't follow through. We weren't the people thowing water ballons out the window of our hotel room; we were just playing poker. :-)
